A long time ago, a Makai priestess named Higari became very powerful in controlling forces no one could ever achieve. That is why she was prevented by another priest named Sougen. Using his body and his own life, he created the Tougen flute and sealed Higari shortly after his death. So anyone looking for power will be able to resurrect Higari by playing 8 notes on this flute. While Kouga is fighting in the Promised Land, two Makai priestesses, Jabi and Rekka, travel to Northern Land to bring Higari back to life. The Secret Flute is a spin off of the Garo TV series.
